Buffalo at CES introduced several new products, one of which is the first portable recorder Slim Blu-ray. MediaStation uses 6x USB 2.0 (a pity that this is not a new USB 3.0 – for external devices recording the new BD media, connection speed can be very useful) and has hit the stores in March. From what I see designers succeeded in creating a Buffalo drive operating without external power supply. Price of the hardware is fixed at $ 250
